FLIPPITYBOARD
The split-flap board we built instead of finishing the app. It has its own home now.
Some side projects refuse to stay side projects. This one was a weekend detour from building CONQR. It is now its own product, on its own domain, with its own roadmap.
What it is
A split-flap display board that runs in a browser. The kind of board that hung in old train stations and clattered through every letter before landing on the right one. FlippityBoard makes one you can type into, color, resize, animate, and export as a still, a loop, or a video.
A fixed two-row preview. The real editor does any size, any color, any message.
Why it left
It started as a joke in a blog post about procrastinating on the app. Then people started using it for wedding signage, cafe menus, stream overlays, and screens in their living rooms. None of that belongs on a running site.
So it moved. FlippityBoard now has its own front page, its own pricing, its own accounts, and room to grow into a product rather than a detour.
What stayed here
This page and the story behind it. Everything else — the editor, plans, sign-in, and saved boards — lives at flippityboard.com. If you had a FLIPPITY account on this site, it went with it.

Go flip something.
The editor is free to open, needs no account, and starts flipping the moment you type.
Meanwhile, back on the map
CONQR is the reason FlippityBoard exists, and it is the thing we are actually building: a strategy game where walks and runs claim real ground. It is pre-launch, and the waitlist is how you get in first.
